Shriya Pilgaonkar (born 25 April 1989 [1]) is an Indian actress, director, producer who primarily works in Hindi films and web shows. Born to actors Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar, she made her acting debut with the Marathi film Ekulti Ek (2013) for which she won the Best Debut Actress at the Maharashtra State Film Awards. Shriya is the daughter of famous Marathi and Hindi TV and film actors, Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar. In 2013, she started acting with her father’s production Marathi film Ekulti Ek. Before acting, she worked as a theatre actress and also directed few short films. She debuted in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan’s film Fan in 2016.
Shriya Pilgaonkar is an actress and is the only child of Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar, both actors by profession. Pilgaonkar learned Kathak as a child. She trained as a professional swimmer and competed at the state level, winning gold medals in the under-7 and under-9 categories.
