She was born in a Punjabi family in Pakistan. In 2002, she started her career as a TV presenter by hosting a show called Prime Gupshup on Prime TV. She showed her comic skills on a show by mimicking the actors occasionally. Prior to becoming an actor, she worked as a comedian for several television shows.
