The Sweden Trail, which runs between Helsingborg and Karesuando, is an almost nationwide cycle route and passes through all of Sweden's regions except Gotland. The stage stretches between Valsjöbyn and Nälden in Jämtland and runs along several lakes through beautiful cultural landscapes. The trail runs mostly on asphalt.
