HEAT ADVISORY IN PLEASANTON – COOLING CENTERS AND HEAT SAFETY. A heat wave is hitting the Bay Area this week. As the temperatures are expected to be over 100 degrees for much of the week, the City will open formal Cooling Centers from Tuesday, July 2 through Sunday, July 7.
