DeAndre Ayton has so much God giving ability from the neck down. He should be going around Jokic. Granted, he might not be able to prevent Jokic from scoring, there's a reason why he is a two time MVP, BUT still on scale of 1-10 Ayton is a damn near 10 on the talent scale, Jokic would be a solid 2-3. Deandre Ayton is a clown, a headcase and someone who doesn't care about winning. He got his deal and now he's on cruise control. Look at his free throw rate from last year. He would rather stay up all night and play NBA 2k (I'm not kidding) than actually improve his game. He's soft and apathetic. Every time he talks he says something stupid.
Yes he is. A disappointment is a bust. No one would want to draft a player like that number 1 overall. This sub has way too hard a time saying anyone is a bust, unless you are like Kwame Brown level. I’ve seen people talking that Markelle Fultz isn’t a bust.
Jun 15, 2021 · ADMIN MOD. How good is Deandre Ayton? The former #1 overall pick has been a really solid contributor for the Suns. However he has always been overshadowed by others in his draft class (notably Michael Porter Jr., SGA, Luka and Trae). And his 2 teammates in CP3 and Booker are widely lauded as the driving forces of the Suns success this season.
Feb 9, 2024 · There is a big difference between Jason Quick tweeting BS about the Blazers and the Athletic publishing a curated article from him. Plus… we know this stuff about Deandre to be true. I truly feel for Blazers fans that are finding a way to pin this on the author being non-credible when there is evidence of Deandre being late and throwing tantrums.
Ayton is a below average #1, at least so far. But he projects to have a below average career for a #1 too. So certainly not a bust but when you’re the #1 pick and you’re not returning at least average value, you’re a dud for sure.
