GATE 2024 is being organised by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. GATE Organisation. IISc Bengaluru is the Organising Institute for GATE 2024. GATE 2024 is being conducted by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs comprising IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee, on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
Each GATE 2024 paper is for a total of 100 marks, General Aptitude (GA) is common for all papers (15 marks), and the rest of the paper covers the respective test paper syllabus (85 marks). Click here for detailed pattern of the question papers. Multi-sessional papers: Candidate will be assigned to appear only in one of the sessions for the papers running in multiple sessions.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination conducted across the country jointly by IISc and seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordinating Board (GATE), Ministry of Education, Government of India. Admission to post graduate programmes with Ministry of Education and some other government scholarship/ assistantship at engineering colleges/ institutes in the country are open to those who qualify through GATE.

The video solutions are designed to be self-contained - starting from a quick recap of the basic concepts needed in solving the problem, followed by a detailed solution using fundamental concepts and ending by providing tricks, if any, to solve the problems.
