Eligibility. Applicant and his/her parents must have foreign citizenship. * Applicants who have completed (or are expected to complete) the 1st year (or 2 semesters) or more and earned (or are expected to earn) more than 1/4 of the credits required for graduation in a regular 4-year university course (a bachelor’s degree course) abroad.
The Graduate School presently has 37 departments for Master’s Courses, 31 departments for Doctoral Courses, 28 departments for Master’s & Doctoral Courses, and 5 departments for Collaborated Courses.
Established in 1946, Kookmin University was the first private university to be founded after Korean independence from Japan started after the Second World War, by the Korean government in exile in Shanghai. The university is located in the Seongbuk-gu district of South Korea’s capital, Seoul.
