The University of Gloucestershire is a public university based in Gloucestershire, England. It is located over three campuses, two in Cheltenham and one in Gloucester. In March 2021, the university purchased the former Debenhams store in Gloucester City Centre, with a new campus due to open there in 2023.

University of Gloucestershire Overview. The University of Gloucestershire comprises three campuses across Cheltenham and Gloucester and was awarded university status in 2001 following the merger of numerous institutions. 9,200 students are currently enrolled from over 60 different countries.
The University of Gloucestershire began as a teacher training college in 1847 and now comprises three campus sites across Cheltenham and Gloucester: Francis Close Hall, Oxstalls, The Park. There is also a Centre for Fashion, Art and Photography located in Chletenham.
