eShram portal is a Ministry of Labour & Employment initiative to create a database of unorganized workers in India. It uses Aadhaar to seed the database with details of name, occupation, address, skill types, etc.
Shram Suvidha Unified Portal for Labour and Employment Portal will facilitate ease of reporting at one place for various Labour Laws, consolidated information of Labour Inspection and its enforcement. Users can register and avail services related to labour and employment sector.
eShram Portal is a database of unorganized workers in India, seeded with Aadhaar, to access social security schemes. Learn who can register, what is required and who are the stakeholders of eShram Portal.
The eShram portal will be used for enrollment, registration, collection and identification of the required data of all the unorganised workers. Portal will provide the facility to register workers by Self registration as per their convenience.
Central Government has developed eSHRAM portal which will be a centralized database of unorganized workers seeded with Aadhaar. After registering, he/she will get an Accidental Insurance cover of 2 Lacs under PMSBY.

Dec 7, 2023 · The Ministry of Labour and Employment has launched eShram portal on 26.08.2021 for registration and creation of a comprehensive National Database of Unorganized Workers. It allows an unorganised worker to register himself or herself on the portal on self-declaration basis, under 400 occupations in 30 broad occupation sectors.
