Alumni Stadium is a football stadium located on the lower campus of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) west of downtown Boston. Each Fall since 1957, the Boston College Eagles football team has called Alumni Stadium their home. Prior to its construction, the Eagles played at Alumni Field that was constructed in 1915 and had a seating capacity of 15,000. It was later increased to seat 25,000 but was often to small.
Alumni Stadium is a great venue for football. You get a chance to see National Power-Houses like Clemson, Florida State, and Notre Dame. There is not a bad seat in the stadium, but the best seats are the ones that face away from Boston because you get the great afternoon sun.
