Last year, Recruiting organizations provided a total of 1898 employment offers to students, with 1516 accepted during the IIT Bombay Placements 2022-2023.
During IIT Bombay Placements 2023, the highest number of students were placed from the B.Tech batch (791) followed by the M.Tech batch (583). The placement percentage was the highest for the Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) course.

The Placement Drive at IIT Bombay was a year-long event, which started in the month of July 2020 and ended on June 30, 2021. The placements were successfully completed in two phases, clearly demonstrating the demand of our graduates among the top recruiters in various segments of the economy.
The part-time programme is available to the students admitted under the categories of Sponsored (SW), Institute Research Assistantship (RA), Research Assistantship through Project (RAP), Project Staff (PS) and Institute Staff (IS). PS and IS categories are only for persons employed at IIT Bombay.
A total of 2056 students registered for placements and 1184 students registered for internship programs. The registered students belonged to engineering, science, humanities and design departments of IIT Bombay in bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. programs.
