The part-time programme is available to the students admitted under the categories of Sponsored (SW), Institute Research Assistantship (RA), Research Assistantship through Project (RAP), Project Staf (PS) and Institute Staf (IS). PS and IS categories are only for persons employed at IIT Bombay.

The subject wise schedule for IIT Bombay MTech 2024 spot admission is available at iitb.ac.in. Candidates who have not secured a seat during the COAP 2024 counselling can apply for the IIT Bombay M.Tech spot admission 2024.
The IIT Bombay MTech program is offered for 2 years in full-time mode and a part-time program of 3-year duration. To be eligible for the M. Tech (Master of Technology) program at IIT Bombay for admission to the M. Tech program, candidates generally need to have a qualifying GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score.
