Pierre Alféri (French: [pjɛʁ alfeʁi]; 10 April 1963 – 16 August 2023) was a French novelist, poet, and essayist. Alféri was the son of the French philosopher Jacques Derrida and psychoanalyst Marguerite Aucouturier.

Pierre Alféri (b. 1963) is a French novelist, poet, and essayist currently based in Paris.
Pierre Alferi, born in 1963, was the author of some fifteen books of poetry, novels and essays, most of them published by P.O.L. He made short films, sound pieces and posters, and wrote plays, librettos and songs, which gave rise to numerous shows, exhibitions and screenings in France and abroad.
Pierre Alferi died yesterday in Paris. Poet and editor. I first met Pierre at the Objectivist conference at Royaumont in 1989. He did a simultaneous trnaslation of my talk on Charles Reznikoff (later published as "Reznikoff's Nearness." (Pictured here with Karl Rakosi.)
