T. A. Sarasvati Amma (Tekkath Amayankottukurussi Kalathil Sarasvati, also spelt as T. A. Saraswathi Amma; 26 December 1918 – 15 August 2000) was a scholar born in Cherpulassery, Palakkad District, Kerala, India.
T A Saraswathi Amma is one of many disavowed Indian women scholars, who has contributed in the field of history of mathematics and Sanskrit, through her work on ancient Indian geometry.
T.A. Sarasvati Amma was the principal of the Shree Shree Lakshmi Narain Trust Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Women’s College), Dhanbad, from 1973 to about 1980. In those days, Dhanbad was in Bihar and the S.S.L.N.T. Women’s College was affiliated to Ranchi University.

Nov 3, 2019 · Dr. T. A. Sarasvati Amma was born as the second daughter of her mother Kuttimalu Amma and father Marath Achutha Menon. The year of her birth was apparently 1094 of the Kollam (Kolamba) era which is prevalent in Kerala and which corresponds to ad 1918–1919.
