Madath Thekkepaattu Vasudevan Nair (born 15 July 1933), popularly known as M.T., is an Indian author, screenplay writer and film director. He is a prolific and versatile writer in modern Malayalam literature , and is one of the masters of post-Independence Indian literature.
[തിരുത്തുക] പുന്നയൂർക്കുളത്തുക്കാരനായ തെണ്ട്യേത്ത് നാരായണൻ നായരുടെയും കൂടല്ലൂരുകാരിയായ അമ്മാളുവമ്മയുടെയും ഇളയ മകനായിട്ടാണ് ജനനം. തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ പൂന്നയൂർക്കുളത്തും പാലക്കാട്ട് ജില്ലയിലെ കൂടല്ലൂരുമായിട്ടായിരുന്നു ചെറുപ്പക്കാലം ചെലവഴിച്ചത്. എംടിയുടെ അച്ഛൻ ജോലി സംബന്ധമായി സിലോണിലായിരുന്നു. അവിടെ മറ്റൊരു ഭാര്യയും കുട്ടിയുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
