NUSRL has been established by an Act of the State Legislature prompted by the vision of the constitutional forefathers that the law, legal system and legal institutions have an overarching role for human, social, political and economic development of the nation.
NUSRL is a national university of study and research in law established in 2010 by the Jharkhand State Assembly. It offers integrated and postgraduate courses in law, research programs, and various co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
