Kiba, a lone wolf, wanders into a city, trying to sniff out the Lunar Flowers that are supposed to lead whoever follows the scent to paradise. The source of the smell is Cheza, a girl who sleeps in what appears to be suspended animation in a lab.

Wolf's Rain is a powerful, tragic story following four wolves who set out on a mission to find "paradise". The anime's strength lies in it's complex and at times confusing story. When I started watching I simply couldn't wait to find out what would happen next, even though the pacing is fairly slow.
