Hassan Vossug ed-Dowleh (Persian: حسن وثوقالدوله ; April 1, 1868 – February 3, 1951) was an Iranian politician who served as the Prime Minister of Iran twice. He was the older brother of Ahmad Qavam , who also served as Prime Minister, five times.

Biography. He served as colonel for ten years and became Minister of Post and Telegraph as well as Minister of Customs where he was in charge of all imports into and exports out of Iran. Later he became Minister of Treasury where he was singlehandedly in charge of the entire country's coin issue.
According to Vosuq al-Dowleh, the point was to be ready to act immediately when the moment would come for a peace conference to be convened. Vosuq al-Dowleh also came up with concrete proposals as to the composition of the Persian delegation.

The Iranian Prime Minister was replaced by the pro-British Hassan (Vosough) Vossug ed Dowleh, who played a leading role in the negotiations with the British Ambassador. After six months of secret negotiations, the Anglo-Persian Agreement was declared on 9 August 1919.
