Mark Francis Brzezinski (born April 7, 1965) is an American lawyer serving as the United States Ambassador to Poland since 2022. He previously served as the United States Ambassador to Sweden from 2011 to 2015 under President Barack Obama.
Ambassador Brzezinski was founder and previously the principal of Brzezinski Strategies LLC. He was a Managing Director at Makena Capital Management, where he led the firm’s sustainable and ESG investing efforts.
President Joe Biden has nominated Mark Brzezinski to serve as his ambassador to Poland. Brzezinski served in Barack Obama’s administration as the first executive director of the White House’s Arctic Executive Steering Committee and as the U.S. ambassador to Sweden.
