  10. Haruhiko Kuroda has been the Governor of the Bank of Japan since 20 March 2013. Mr Kuroda holds a BA in law from the University of Tokyo (1967) and an MPhil in economics from the University of Oxford (1971). He started his career at the Japanese Ministry of Finance in 1967.
