Lalita Shastri (born Lalmani Devi; 11 January 1910 [1] – 13 April 1993) [citation needed] was the wife of Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri. Devi was from Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh. She married Shastri on 16 May 1928.
