Enrique "Kiki" Camarena Salazar (July 26, 1947 – February 9, 1985) was an American intelligence officer for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). In February 1985, Camarena was kidnapped by drug traffickers hired by Mexican politicians in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Enrique (Kiki) S. Camarena was born on July 26, 1947, in Mexicali, Mexico. He graduated from Calexico High School in Calexico, California in 1966, and in 1968 he joined the U.S. Marine Corps.
After more than four years chasing drugs around Mexico, Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, a DEA agent stationed in Guadalajara, finally tipped off Mexican law enforcement to raid “Rancho Búfalo” in late 1984. “Rancho Búfalo” was a massive 2,500-acre marijuana plantation run by the Guadalajara cartel.
