Michelle Gilliam Phillips (born Holly Michelle Gilliam; June 4, 1944) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to fame as a vocalist in the musical quartet the Mamas & the Papas in the mid-1960s.
Michelle Phillips is best known as a member of the pop group The Mamas and the Papas and as Anne Matheson on Knots Landing. She has also appeared in films, TV shows, and music videos, and written songs for various projects.
