Nile Gregory Rodgers Jr. (born September 19, 1952) [2] is an American musician, songwriter and record producer. The co-founder of Chic, he has written, produced, and performed on records that have sold more than 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide. Rodgers is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee.
