Shinee ( / ˈʃaɪniː / SHY-nee; Korean: 샤이니, romanized : Syaini; Japanese: シャイニー, romanized : Shainī; stylized as SHINee) is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2008. The group originally consisted of five members: Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin, and Jonghyun, until the latter died in 2017.

SHINee (샤이니; also stylized Shinee) is a South Korean Kpop boy group under SM Entertainment. The group debuted on May 25, 2008. The four members of Shinee are: Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Jonhyun passed away on December 18, 2017.
