In 1993, Nash signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) under the name Diesel (nicknamed "Big Daddy Cool" and "Big Sexy"). While performing as Diesel, he achieved status as a top star in the company, winning the WWF World , Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships (the WWF Triple Crown ).
Within his first year, Diesel eliminated seven men in the 1994 Royal Rumble Match and later won the Intercontinental Championship. Shortly thereafter, Diesel and Michaels captured the World Tag Team Titles together, making "Big Daddy Cool" a double champion in WWE.
As Diesel, Kevin Nash became the personification of cool and one of WWE's most dangerous threats.
