Runaway Virus plot. During a flu epidemic in 1918, 30 million people died in South America. Suddenly a woman from Guatemala shows up with similar symptoms. The carrier, Rita, is on her way to Los Angeles ignorant of the fact that she is leaving behind a trail of death and destruction.
