Zatoichi Challenged (座頭市血煙り街道, Zatōichi chikemurikaidō) is a 1967 Japanese chambara film directed by Kenji Misumi and starring Shintaro Katsu as the blind masseur Zatoichi. The film was originally released by the Daiei Motion Picture Company (later acquired by Kadokawa Pictures ).

Zatoichi Challenged feels familiar to what we've seen before, but pairing Zatoichi with a kid is never a bad idea. Great story overall and emotional (though the first two acts felt a bit draging), spectacular action and embracing a darker tone (just like the last couple of films) giving this a better flavour.
