    The Accident: A Moment of Truth Movie (also known as "Reckless Nights: The Accident") is a 1997 NBC network television drama movie which aired on September 15, 1997.

    Lizzie (Bonnie Root), Kate (Deanna Milligan) & Janie (Marisa Rudiak) were three best friends in high school who shared a love of a lot of different things: studying, partying and drinking alcohol.

    After a pre-graduation party, Lizzie decides to drive both herself & Janie home and they end up in a car accident which kills Janie.
