Entertainment stars Akshay Kumar, whose character is the sole heir to his father`s property. However, things take an unexpected turn when someone else enters the picture - a dog named Entertainment. The two start battling it out for the property, leading to a series of hilarious events!
Akhil (Akshay Kumar) finds out that he is the heir of 3000 crore rupees as he and his mother were abandoned by his diamond baron father (Panna Laal Johari) who is now dead. However, his life goes Topsy-turvy when he learns that the empire goes to entertainment (a dog).
To his dismay the entire wealth and property is willed in the name of the dog named "Entertainment". This spirals into one crazy slapstick adventure of comic madness with other well-known comedians in the mix, like Johnny Lever, Krishna, Mithun Chakraborty, Ritesh Deshmukh and Shreyas.
