Critics reviews. A quartet of short films from Jean-Luc Godard, Roberto Rossellini, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Ugo Gregoretti, covering everything from romantic frisson to the apocalypse to Orson Welles making a movie about Jesus Christ.
4 short films by a quartet of directors. Rosselini's 'Chastity' ('Illibatezza') deals with an attractive air hostess who receives the unwelcome attentions of a middle aged American.
Rossellini's film follows a man on a trip who takes the opportunity to pursue a stewardess. He doesn't take no for an answer, manipulates her, and generally acts creepy. Films today would still be making this man the hero, but Rossellini, bless him, makes it clear that he's a creep.
