The 1932 film Honor Of The Mounted is a thrilling western movie with a strong moral message. Set in the rugged terrain of Northwest Canada, the film follows the adventures of Constable "Grip" Harrison, played by Tom Tyler, a fearless and dedicated Mountie who is determined to bring law and order to the frontier.
Tom Halliday of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is implicated and framed on a murder charge. The real killer has gone back into the United States, so Halliday, with no credentials, has to cross the border in order to find and capture the killer.
Honor Of The Mounted. First time on video! Tom is locked in a closet while a murder occurs in the outer room. He sheds his uniform and heads over the border to track down the killer. Blystone makes a great villain. This is actually more of a straight B western than a Mountie movie with Tom only in uniform for a few minutes at the beginning and end.
