Kaarnama is a 1990 Bollywood film written, produced and directed by actor Ranjeet. Ranjeet had also directed the Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal -starrer Ghazab Tamasha. Kaarnama was based on a horse race. It had a very different story line and was well made by director Ranjeet.

Description. Suraj (Vinod Khanna) is a private owner/trainer whose best friend in the whole world is his wonder horse. The horse, Chetak, poses a direct threat to millionaire punter, Rana (Amrish Puri) on the race course and the macho Suraj poses a challenge to Rana?s pampered daughter, Jyoti (Kimi Katkar).
