Teenage Monster: Directed by Jacques R. Marquette. With Anne Gwynne, Stuart Wade, Gloria Castillo, Chuck Courtney. In 1880 a young boy is exposed to the effects of a meteor and becomes an ugly killer monster, as his mother hides him in her new house and tries to stop his killing.
After he’s exposed to the rays of a mysterious meteor that’s crashed near his Western town, teenager Charles Cannon is transformed into a hairy psychopathic killer with a taste for blood.
Conflating the Western, horror and teenage movie genres as it does, "Teenage Monster" (1957) is a unique experience indeed. It also features the most frightening monster in a late 1800s Western setting since Mercedes McCambridge stalked through the plains of "Johnny Guitar" (1954).
