He has also served as a judge in the Patna High Court as well as the Andhra Pradesh High Court. He served with the Bihar government as its Advocate General.
Ahsanuddin Amanullah is an Indian lawyer and the former judge of the Patna High Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court. He was also the State Advocate General of Bihar. On 4 February 2023, President Droupadi Murmu appointed him as a judge of the Supreme Court.
In October 2021 he was transferred to the Andhra Pradesh HC and in November 2021, he was appointed as Executive Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Legal Services Authority. After being transferred back to the Patna HC in June 2022, Justice Amanullah was elevated to the SC on February 6th, 2023.
