    IIT BHU B.Tech Cutoff Candidates get admitted to the IIT BHUB.Tech program depending on their JEE Advanced rank. Every year, JoSAA publishes six rounds of cutoff for the IIT BHU B.Tech Program.     The candidates must pass the class XII examinations with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects and must in the top 20% percentile in the 12th examination
    Students must secure 75% (for general category students) in aggregate in class XII, and 60% (for SC, ST candidates) from a recognized state or central board.
    The IIT BHU selects its candidates for B.Tech through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
    The students must appear in the JEE advanced and must have a score above the IIT cut off score.
    The shortlisted candidates are invited for the counselling process.
    The Joint Association Board conducts a total of 8 rounds of seat allotment i.e 2 Mock rounds and 6 rounds of counselling for allocation of seats to the participating institutes.
