Phil Tippett (born September 27, 1951) is an American film director and visual effects supervisor and producer, who specializes in creature design, stop-motion and computerized character animation. Over his career, he has assisted ILM and DreamWorks, and in 1984 formed his own company, Tippett Studio.
Phil Tippett is a renowned visual effects artist who has worked on films such as Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and Starship Troopers. He is the founder of Tippett Studio and has won two Oscars and six BAFTA awards for his creations.
