Bass Brewery ( / ˈbæs /) was founded in 1777 by William Bass in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England. [2] . The main brand was Bass Pale Ale, once the highest-selling beer in the UK. [3] . By 1877, Bass had become the largest brewery in the world, with an annual output of one million barrels. [4] .
Conceived as a single brewery in the late 18th century, Bass PLC was in the process of a historic transition at the turn of the millennium. Entering 2000, Bass was an international group operating in four main areas: hotels and resorts; pubs, restaurants, and entertainment venues; brewing; and soft drinks.
- Actual Brewing Company. The Fat Julian Imperial Stout. You got to love a beer that delivers on tasting like an elephant. It comes on coarse and thick, with dark and full bodied flavors.
- Wolf’s Ridge Brewing. Driftwood American IPA. This one was pretty tough. Wolf’s Ridge puts out a lot of amazing beers including their Day Break, which stands out quite a bit considering it’s a Cream Ale.
