Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Autonomous College, better known as BJB Autonomous College, is a college in Bhubaneswar in Odisha, India that offers courses at primarily the higher secondary and undergraduate levels.
BJB Autonomous College is one of the premier educational institutions of Orissa. Apart from regular courses for the degree of Bachelor in Arts, Science and Commerce, some selected Self-Financing Courses have been introduced with the approval of the Government.
Named after Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Bhramarabara Ray Mahapatra, the rebel extraordinary of pre-independent India, it is located over an area of 28.2 acres of land near Kalpana Square on the National Highway connecting Cuttack and Puri.
This college is named after the great freedom fighter Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Bhramarabara Ray Mahapatra, whose statue was installed in front of Administrative Block in 1974. The College which shifted to its present campus since 1962 was affiliated to Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
