Mauricio Roberto Pochettino Trossero (born 2 March 1972) is an Argentine professional football manager and former player who most recently managed Premier League club Chelsea.
Before becoming coach, Mauricio Pochettino already had history at Paris Saint-Germain where, as a centre-back and club captain, he made 95 appearances for the Rouge & Bleu between 2001 and 2003, scoring 6 goals.
Mauricio Pochettino has taken charge of three Premier League clubs: Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. The former Argentina international defender started his playing career at Newell’s Old Boys in his homeland before moving to Espanyol in Spain at the start of the 1994/95 season.
