Vernon Darryl Philander (born 24 June 1985) is a South African former international cricketer. He was a right-handed bowling all-rounder; he had previously represented his country at under 19 level. He played for the South Africa national cricket team and Cape Cobras in South African domestic cricket.
Vernon Philander is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a right-handed batsman who plays for South Africa in Test, ODI and T20 formats. He has taken 11391 wickets and scored 1779 runs in 64 Tests, and has also played for various domestic and international teams.
