Alexander Vladimirovich "Sasha" Artemev ( Russian: Александр Владимирович "Саша" Артемьев, Belarusian: Аляксандр Уладзіміравіч Арцем'еў; born August 29, 1985) is a retired American artistic gymnast. Artemev was a member of the bronze medal-winning U.S. team at the 2008 Olympic Games.

Alexander Artemev. Career Highlights. Artemev was an alternate on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team for men's gymnastics, but was named to the team just two days before competition began because of an injury to Morgan Hamm. Artemev and his teammates went on to win the team bronze medal, and he qualified for the all-around and pommel horse finals.
