Aron Tager (June 30, 1934 – February 28, 2019) was an American actor, poet, artist and sculptor, he is best known for voicing Cranky Kong in the animated television series, Donkey Kong Country and for portaging Dr. Vink on the children's televsion show Are You Afraid of the Dark?.

He moved to Canada, where he appeared in various Canadian theatre productions. For a quarter century he took a hiatus from acting in favor of art, sculpting and poetry.

Tager left us at the age of 84, and as far as we know, he passed away due to natural causes. Our hearts go out to all those impacted by the loss of Mr. Tager.
