Alexander Held. Gerald Alexander Held (born 19 October 1958) is a German actor. He is internationally best known for his historical depictions, as Walther Hewel in the 2004 film Der Untergang, Robert Mohr in the 2005 film Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage and as state prosecutor Siegfried Buback in the 2008 film Der Baader Meinhof Komplex .
Alexander Held kam im Oktober 1958 als Sohn des Schauspielers José Held (1903–1974) und der Hausfrau Sophie Held in München zur Welt. Während seiner Schulzeit war er Solosänger bei den Regensburger Domspatzen und ein talentierter Fußballspieler, der mit dem Fußballclub TSV 1860 München fünfmal die Jugendmeisterschaften gewann.
