Alan Young (born Angus Young; November 19, 1919 – May 19, 2016) was a British-born actor, who TV Guide called "the Charlie Chaplin of television". Young portrayed Wilbur Post in the television comedy Mister Ed (1961–1966) and voiced Disney's Scrooge McDuck for over 40 years, beginning in the 1974 Disneyland Records album An Adaptation of Dickens' Christmas Carol, Performed by The Walt Disney Players.
