Kevin James (born April 26, 1965) is an American playwright, actor, writer, and producer. He is widely known for playing Doug Heffernan on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens. He is also known for his lead roles in the comedy films I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Grown Ups, The Dilemma, and Zookeeper.
Kevin James is an American actor who first appeared in the hit television series Everybody Loves Raymond, followed by The King of Queens. His debut film was Hitch (2005), alongside Will Smith, after which he starred in comic films like Grilled (2006), Elmos Christmas Countdown (2007) and Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009).
