Born during the hardscrabble days of the Great Depression by Chitlin’ Circuit comedian Ernest “Skillet” Mayhand, by the 1940s, style-conscious dancers in Harlem began wearing baggy suit coats and trousers that exaggerated their movements, along with glittering watch chains and a variety of hats ranging from fedoras, porkpies and sombreros.
Leroy & Skillet (Leroy Daniels & Ernest 'Skillet' Mayhand) are a rambunctious pair of Fred's friends who like to play poker, billiards or joke around. They appear in the second and third seasons. The two appeared in six episodes in total.
