Jun 27, 2010 · Adoor: Malayalam actress Adoor Pankajam passed away in Kerala's Adoor town late Saturday, family sources said. She was 85. She breathed her last at her son’s home here. In a career spanning more than four decades, Pankajam acted in close to 400 films and is best known for her role in the National Award winning Malayalam film Chemmen in 1965.
Veteran Malayalam cine actress Adoor Pankajam, who excelled in character and humour roles, died after a prolonged illness at her house at Adoor in Kollam district tonight, family sources said.
