Aug 14, 2023 · Matteo Levi, Stefano Meda, Federico Santagati, Maria Vallarino. In this paper we study the $L^p$ boundedness of the centred and the uncentred Hardy--Littlewood maximal operators on the class $\Upsilon_ {a,b}$, $2\leq a\leq b$, of trees with $ (a,b)$-bounded geometry.

THEMATIC SESSION: Analysis and PDEs. Hardy–Littlewood maximal operators on trees with bounded geom-etry. Matteo Levi (UB and UAB) The centred Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator M on homogeneous trees is of weak type (1, 1) and hence bounded on Lp for every p > 1 [CMS, NT].
We present various results concerning the two-weight Hardy inequality on infinite trees. Our main aim is to survey known characterizations (and proofs) for trace measures, as well as to provide some new ones.
