Jan 2, 2019 · Slightly Mad Studios, the developer of racing and driving simulators, is working on a "stand alone console" that will support VR and have equivalent specs to a fast PC. The console, called Mad Box, will be cross-platform, open to all developers, and ship in around three years, according to CEO Ian Bell.
